I could find the latest driver from AMD myself and try to install manually but I'm reluctant to do this as I'm no expert and I don't want to kill my computer if the 2006 driver really is the best for my system. So pre-dating Windows 10 (2015) release by nearly 10 years! I find it hard to believe the best SATA driver for my system is one that pre-dates my OS by so long. But if I try to update them in 'Device Manager' I'm told "Windows has determined you already have the best drivers for your system installed." Which generally I'm happy to acceptīut the SATA driver currently installed that Windows claims is the best for my (Windows 10) system is. The 'Driver Updater' in Avast keeps telling me these 2 drivers need updating. I'm running a AMD FX-6300 system, 8Gb RAM with Nvidia GTX 750 Ti GPU, running Windows 10 and Avast AV.
